About OASE BioSmart Set 5000 INT
The OASE BioSmart Set 5000 INT is a flow-through pond filter set supplied as a complete unit with a filter box, mechanical/biological foam media, an integrated UVC clarifier and an included pump (listed by OASE as Filter pump 1500). The manufacturer presents this as a packaged solution intended for general ponds up to 5.0 m³ (5,000 litres), with separate guidance for fish and koi stocking levels. Manufacturer data on the product page show the filter box, two foam cartridges (one blue, one red) and an integrated UVC module. The product page lists both the UVC lamp rating (7 W) and the UVC electrical consumption (11 W for the UVC electronics), and it gives dimensions for the filter box (280 × 380 × 410 mm) and for the pump (190 × 175 × 110 mm). The set includes hose adaptors for multiple inlet sizes (19 / 25 / 32 / 38 mm) and a DN50 outlet; a 3 m length of 3/4" (19 mm) hose is included in the scope of delivery. Things to consider
The OASE product page contains internal conflicts that prevent some single-value fields from being resolved: the page lists a Max. flow rate of 2750 l/h and also lists the included pump as 'Filter pump 1500' with Qmax 1500 l/h; these two flow figures conflict. The page also shows the included pump power as 25 W in the spec table but elsewhere contains the phrase 'included 100‑watt filter pump'. Both statements appear on the official page and are therefore reported here; because they conflict, maxFlowLph and powerWatts are left null. The UVC lamp rating (7 W) and the UVC electrical consumption (11 W) are both published on the product page (lamp vs electrical consumption). No IP/protection rating or operating pressure is stated on the manufacturer product page.
Installation
Manufacturer notes the filter can be recessed into the ground to one-third of its height. The set includes hose adaptors for 19 / 25 / 32 / 38 mm inlets and a DN50 outlet; 3 m of 19 mm (3/4") hose is included. Pump cable length (10.00 m) and UVC cable length (3.00 m) are listed on the product page.
Maintenance
